P.D.A. LADIES’ CITY TEAM RULES
- A quarterly qualifier will establish City team ranking.
- A minimum score of 1200* is required to qualify to be on the team.
- The City Team consists of the ranked players #1 – #10.
- The team will elect 2 Co-captains every January.
- Captain’s responsibilities:
- Presides over Team meetings.
- Sets up matches.
- Sets line-up at matches.
- If the Captain cannot attend a match, she may appoint a temporary acting Team Captain prior to the scheduled match.
- No one may play in a match who has not qualified for the team except by a unanimous vote by the team members present the day of the match.
- If a ranked player misses any unexcused home match she will drop one (1) position on the ranking. If a ranked player misses any unexcused away match she will drop two (2) positions. If a player is not able to attend a match she must notify the captain before the scheduled match.
- If a ranked player misses three (3) consecutive Ladies’ Team matches (excused or unexcused), she will drop one (1) position on the ranking. Starting with the fourth (4) consecutive missed match, she will be dropped one (1) position on the ladder for each additional match missed.
